Labor and Delivery Prep

Confident. Prepared. Empowered.

At Rebirth Pelvic Health & Physical Therapy, we believe every birthing person deserves to feel supported and informed throughout pregnancy and birth. Our Labor & Delivery Prep services are designed to help you feel physically and mentally ready for one of the most transformative events of your life.

Why Labor Prep Matters

Your body is incredible, and with the right guidance, you can approach labor feeling strong, connected, and ready. Pelvic floor physical therapy before delivery:

  • Prepares your pelvic floor for a smoother delivery

  • Improves body awareness and breathing techniques

  • Reduces risk of tearing and pelvic trauma

  • Enhances pushing efficiency

  • Promotes better postpartum recovery

What to Expect in Your Sessions

Each session is tailored to your body and your birth plan. Whether you're preparing for a natural birth, epidural-assisted delivery, or a planned C-section, we’ve got you covered.

Your labor prep program may include:

  • Pelvic floor muscle training (lengthening & relaxing)

  • Hands-on perineal massage instruction

  • Breathing and pushing practice

  • Optimal birthing positions based on your anatomy

  • Partner education for labor support

  • Guidance for reducing fear and anxiety around birth

When to Start

We recommend starting labor prep around 32–36 weeks of pregnancy. Earlier, if you're managing pain, pelvic pressure, or just want extra support.

Who It's For

This service is perfect for:

  • First-time parents

  • VBAC preparation

  • Anyone with anxiety around labor

  • People with a history of long or difficult labors

  • Those wanting to minimize tearing or trauma

You Deserve to Birth with Confidence

Our goal is to help you enter labor feeling informed, empowered, and connected to your body. You don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to wait until postpartum to get help.
